We Walk The Line
As the winter goes, we walk the line, again. Seemingly every storm dissects the region with snow, ice, and rain. Yesterday was another example. A wave of snow then a period of mix and then rain. The same thing could set up Wednesday and Thursday.
We have rain ending today as the system pulls away. Clouds will linger in its wake but should be mainly dry by early afternoon. Highs will range from the upper 30s to middle 40s.
Tuesday looks dry and seasonal with highs again in the 30s and 40s. Clouds will remain stubborn as we wait for the next system to approach.
Wednesday starts off dry but what is seemingly the 15th storm since December will bear down on us. Rain should start but cold air is draining in. The tendency of this storm has been like all the others, a dissection for the area.
Will cold air finally win one this year? Models will hone in over the next 2 days but it appears the battle line will set up right across the area. If there is anything to take from Sunday and this weekend for a matter of fact, cold air held a bit stronger then anticipated.
If this tendency continues then maybe cold air will hold on and give more of the region a legit chance of some snow late Wednesday and Thursday, so as always we will watch it come in the next couple days.
